thoughtful touches like homemade biscuits, eco toiletries, friendly teddy bear
More privacy with window coverings needed!!! The room's damp smell on arrival and limited towels were disappointing. A power shower would have been preferable instead of the bath!!!

We had a lovely two-night stay in the Heather Suite, enjoying the homemade biscuits and the comfy bed, which made for a great night's sleep. The garden area was perfect for unwinding, with cozy hammocks and a peaceful reading nook. The bathroom could have used a second towel, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. 😊

I really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and the delicious food at The Monk. My room, the Heather Suite, was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The whirlpool bath was an unexpected treat. Breakfast options offered plenty of choice, and they catered well to food allergies, which was appreciated. The location suited our needs perfectly, allowing easy access to scenic river walks. a few aspects could use attention. The shower was tricky to use, and I accidentally burned my ankle trying to figure it out. Nights were a bit too cold to enjoy the outside seating area. the bus service can be unreliable, with long waiting times, especially on Sundays.

I had a comfortable stay with excellent service and thoughtful amenities like organic toiletries. While the food was enjoyable, I found the additional charges for extra breakfast items to be unusual. Exceptional breakfast and charming atmosphere
I had a lovely stay in the Lavender Suite, where the charming decor combined with a tranquil garden area created a perfect retreat. The breakfast was truly exceptional, featuring a variety of options that catered to different tastes. The only downside was the initial welcome, which felt a bit unenthusiastic.

Charming decor with an inviting atmosphere and a lovely garden area. The only downside was the traffic noise at night, especially with the windows open. Close to the golf course, which is a nice bonus.

Charming Stay with Minor Drawbacks
Just had a lovely night in the Rose Room. The room was beautifully decorated and provided a peaceful ambiance. The garden view added to the charm. the bathroom light sensor was overly sensitive, which disturbed our sleep. Consider asking for a room with a light adjustment if you're a light sleeper.
